24in x 30in Oil, acrylic, and ink on Canvas (framed in white floater)
Red Ruffle azaleas dance around the canvas in a path similar to a migration pattern. Perfect in southern climates of the Blue Ridge Mountains, they produce masses of showy, blooms with frilly petals. Red ruffles are known to bloom in both the spring and then again in the fall. Butterflies frequent azaleas and spread pollen from one flower to the next and are dependent on these pollinators to reproduce.
