My work is an exploration of timelines, history, and the delicate nature of holding space. I am deeply aware of the fleeting nature of time and seek to create pieces that reflect the complex balance of honoring the past while embracing the future, all within the transient flow of life.Through earthy textures and botanical formations, I ground my work in the natural cycles of growth, aging, and regeneration. Tactile layers provide a foundation that speaks to the resilience of generations before us, while diaphanous layers represent the fleeting, yet profound moments that pass between the people and experiences that shape us. These transparent elements are the spaces where time pauses—where we hold space for ourselves, our relationships, and the shifting rhythms of life.My art is not just a representation of personal timelines but an invitation for others to reflect on their own roles within this continuum. It is a celebration of both stillness and motion, a visual testament to the moments we consciously hold, and the ones that inevitably slip away.

❤️‍🩹 Helene has swept through the southeastern United States with devastating force, and our beloved western Carolinas have taken a severe beating. As many of you know, we spent over five years living in Asheville, where I had a studio in the River Arts District—one of the hardest-hit areas. My former studio, along with much of the district, was completely submerged, and the city now resembles a war zone. Small towns surrounding Asheville have been erased from the map. Chimney Rock, for instance, is gone. The scale of suffering is overwhelming.Like so many, I found myself caught in a cycle of doom scrolling, sleepless with worry for those trapped in these devastated areas. But worry only takes you so far. Eventually, I decided to channel my concern into action, joining others in donating, organizing, and rallying our incredible community here in Concord, NC. We’ve mobilized supplies—food, cleaning products, blankets, water, and more—through Operation Airlift and other efforts, all headed for western North Carolina.I’m immensely proud of our community in Cabarrus County, which has come together to support our neighbors in need. I hope our collective efforts will contribute to rebuilding the homes, neighborhoods, and lives that make the Carolinas so special.To that end, I want to share a few ways that you can help, if you are able:BeLoved Asheville

The hydrangeas, known for their ability to bloom repeatedly, represent an enduring beauty and the cyclical nature of life. Their soft, ever-present hues suggest a timeless connection to the earth’s rhythms. Meanwhile, the blue butterfly fluttering above evokes the spirit of change and fleeting moments of wonder. Together, they create a narrative where permanence and impermanence dance in harmony, celebrating the persistence of life and the ephemeral nature of each beautiful moment.
