“Inner-Workings”: Mixed-Media on Canvas, 40″ x 40″
I recently completed this painting as a tribute to the Martin Scorsese movie, “Hugo”. I am fascinated by this movie and the drawings of the inside of clocks and their cogs. I have tried to find the sketches from the notebook within the movie but no luck. If you haven’t seen this movie yet, I highly recommend it. “Inner-Workings” to me is more about the way our mind works rather than simply the internal workings of a clock. Multi-tasking and the evolution of projects in our lives.
