A multi-layered tactile piece created with modeling paste, oils and acrylics. This piece features hundreds of tally marks in the background of the piece and an active hourglass losing time in the foreground. All subtle yet a reminder that both “this too shall pass” or “time is fleeting, enjoy the present”. Natural colors and earth tones are prominent which makes it an easy piece to fit into any room. Framed in reclaimed wormy chestnut from Western North Carolina, this piece is one of a kind and a keepsake for several generations to come.
